How credits work
Credits are spent when you edit, refine, or render. Nothing else draws them down.
- The first edit
- 1 credit per 30 seconds of footage, charged once per project. A 5 minute video is 10 credits. A 10 minute video is 20.
- Refining
- The first 3 chat messages per project are free. After that, 1 credit per 3 messages.
- Rendering
- A 1080p MP4 costs 1 credit per 5 minutes of edited video. Cost follows the edited length, not the raw footage.
- Exporting XML
- Free. The download bundles b-roll and animation files; your own source footage relinks in your editor.

Pricing questions
Credits. The first AI edit costs 1 credit per 30 seconds of footage. Refine chat gives you 3 free messages per project, then 1 credit per 3 messages. Rendering a 1080p MP4 costs 1 credit per 5 minutes of edited video. XML export is always free.
Edit and export. You get 20 credits for 7 days, and XML export to your NLE works throughout. MP4 rendering turns on when the trial ends. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
Payments are non-refundable by default. In specific cases we may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion: email info@gedit.ai and we will review it. The trial is the real safety net; cancel before it ends and you are never charged.
You do. You keep ownership of everything you upload, and we take only the license needed to host and process it so the product can work. We do not sell personal data.
Creator + is the largest self-serve plan. If your volume goes past it, email info@gedit.ai and we will work it out directly.
