3. AI Training and Your Choices

3.1 Training by default. Unless you opt out, we may use Content and usage data to improve and train Gedit's internal AI systems and workflows.

3.2 Opt-out. You can opt out by using account settings (if available) or emailing info@gedit.ai. Opt-out applies prospectively.

3.3 Deletion. You may request deletion of Personal Data by contacting info@gedit.ai. We may retain certain data where required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or operational reasons, including limited backup retention cycles.

4. Third-Party AI Models and Processing (No Special Agreements)

4.1 Use as tools. We may use commercially available AI model services (including language models) as tools to provide features. We do not have special partnerships or custom agreements with these AI providers. We use them under the standard service terms they offer to customers generally.

4.2 Processing through third-party AI. When you use AI features, we may transmit limited prompts, instructions, context, metadata, or portions of Content as needed to perform the requested task. Outputs or intermediate results may be processed internally to deliver final results.

4.3 No sale of Personal Data. We do not sell Personal Data. We do not grant ownership of your Content to AI providers through your use of the Services.

5. How We Disclose Personal Data

We may disclose Personal Data to:

• Service providers (hosting, storage, customer support tools, analytics, security, payment processing)
• Advertising and measurement partners (for attribution, analytics, conversion measurement, retargeting, and optimization)
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting, auditors)

• Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale), where data may be transferred subject to reasonable safeguards

6. Advertising, Marketing, Attribution, and Retargeting

6.1 What we do. We may use Personal Data and usage data to:

• Run and measure paid advertising campaigns
• Attribute conversions and performance across channels
• Build audiences for retargeting and remarketing
• Create similar or lookalike audiences (where permitted)
• Optimize ad delivery, reduce fraud, and improve relevance

6.2 Platforms. This may involve platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google (Search, Display, YouTube), TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and other ad networks and analytics providers.

6.3 Data used. Depending on the method, we may use:

• Event data (page views, sign-ups, purchases, subscriptions, key actions)
• Email address in hashed form (where supported and permitted)

6.4 Your choices.

• You can opt out of certain targeted advertising where required by law (for example, via cookie preferences or by contacting info@gedit.ai)
• Some jurisdictions grant additional opt-out rights (see Section 10)
